Movement THE ARGONITE 5040.F
The Argonite 5040.F is the most complex movement our watch team has ever assembled. This 45mm chronograph features three sub dials, a dual calendar aperture, a fourth date hand and a powerful, long-lasting battery.
Case SANDBLASTED STAINLESS STEEL CASE
This sandblasted stainless steel case features a bezel crafted from polished tungsten—a rare metal with a unique look and durable qualities. There’s also classic coin edge detail, a barrel crown and double-domed sapphire crystal. Sapphire is second only to the diamond in hardness, helping protect the watch from scratches.
Coin Edge Detail: It’s a Shinola signature. The Canfield Sport features classic coin edge detailing around the case.
Barrel Crown: The Canfield Sport features a barrel crown accented by a signature Shinola bolt.
Dial SILVER DIAL
The open dial viewing allows for a classic, clean look. A solid black dial is punctuated with three sub dials and a dual calendar aperture.
Dual Calendar Aperture: You’ll never lose track of your days with the Canfield Sport. It's our first watch with a dual calendar aperture that showcases the day and month in the center of the dial while a fourth hand points to the numerical date along the outer rim.
Fourth Date Hand: An extension of the dual calendar aperture, the fourth hand’s half-moon tip points to the numerical date along the outer rim.
Three Sub Dials: The three sub dials on the chronograph track the seconds, minutes and hours of elapsed time. The raised sub dial at the 6 o’clock marker is an element of design, meant to reduce clutter on the main dial of the Canfield Sport.
Strap Black Leather & Khaki Nylon Straps
Smooth and sophisticated, this quick-release leather strap in black is the perfect complement to this 45mm Canfield Sport. It's easy to remove, making the swap to the included khaki nylon strap a breeze. Changing tools are included.
